The first thing we noticed about Annette when she came from another rescue agency, other than her perfect face and big beautiful eyes, was her big dewlap and interesting markings. Her dewlap is the big flap of furry skin under her neck, which is normal for a rabbit of her breed and age. She almost looked as if she was wearing a bathing suit, so we named her after another legendary bathing beauty, Annette Funicello, of Mickey Mouse Club fame. We think Annette may not been socialized very well earlier in her life and at first she seemed to be a little mistrustful of people. Once she started receiving consistent, gentle care and love at our shelter she came around beautifully and is now very friendly and loving toward people. She does excellently with everyone, young or old, and will make a perfect bunny for any family situation. Come visit this sweet, happy girl today!
