Phoenix has quite an amazing story: She was surrendered to a Los Angeles-area animal shelter by an owner who had "too many". At first she appeared very untamed and unsocialized and was put on the "euthanasia list," but her personality improved each day. She was mysteriously and miraculously overlooked by staff when the dreaded euthanasia time came and was never taken to the "back room" from where she never would have returned.
Phoenix has had her incisor teeth removed 3/11/08 and will need to have her vegetables and carrots chopped up for her. She eats pellets and hay with great enthusiasm and otherwise is a very sweet, lovable, healthy, normal little Dutch girl.
