Sweet Little KC bunny
KC had a wonderful and loving home for his limited time with us on
earth. This little bunny was sooo very sick, but a wonderful family
took him in and loved him until the very moment he passed away. I'll let Liz tell
you in her own words below and, by the way, Liz and her husband are going to open
their hearts and their home to two more bunnies so they can continue with the love
and the joy that KC brought to their home:
>From Liz:
The cat and new kitten we got 2 weeks ago were sitting last night
quietly, so I put KC with them, as I know he loves being with them, but he was
getting shakey and kept falling on one side. I picked him up again and was cradling
him in my arms for a while, but he started to shake so much and couldn't seem to
support himself at all. Then he just stopped twitching and went all floppy and I
knew then he'd died there in my arms. My husband pointed out later that KC was a
lucky bunny to be able to die in the arms of the person who loved him so much
and that now he wasn't suffering any more. He says he will be happily hopping
accross that Rainbow Bridge without any illness slowing him down, maybe even being
given a chance to come back to the earth as a cat! We found a large
box to bury him in, draped it with material and put in his pine-cone and some
of his favourite bokchoy lettuce and crunchie nibbles and buried him in the
back garden last night, leaving a lighted candle on top of the grave. My husband
said a short farewell speech to KC, as I was too upset to speak, but he knew what I
wanted to say.
I'm sad not to have him with me anymore, but at least he doesn't have
to suffer with his nasty illness now.
--> Liz (who is going to open her home and her heart to two more
bunnies so she can continue with the love and the joy that KC brought her
home)
