This is for our little pal we lost on Feb, 2nd, 1999. Basil was the
most unique bun and the cutest, loving, animal I have ever known. His unconditional love
he gave us will keep his memory alive and well in our aching hearts. His gentle kisses and
hand grooming he would give us, his soft grunts, his smiling eyes and his gentle teeth
grinding fills the rooms he called his home. Oh how I wish I could hold him once more, I would never let go.
I miss how he greeted us in the morning, kissing his adorable fuzzy
face and soft little lips, and how he use to start eating his dinner while my husband and
I ate ours, this is so hard. We miss him so much, and everyday I ask God why? why? A
question that will probably never be answered. I hope to experience this love again one
day, right now I'm hurting too much. There was a rainbow in the sky, the morning he passed
away, I wanted to follow it and maybe I would find him there at the end, because he will
always be a treasure to us. We love you Basil.
