The Rabbit Janis, pronounced Yanis, was a
discarded stray I found.
I caught him and took him in fearing that if
I didn't he would be run over,
attacked by a dog, or someone would catch him
and confine him to a cage.
The 4 years we had together was not long
enough; he was plagued with chronic
later on-setting health problems. I lost him
8-29-02. I never knew a rabbit
could be so interactive and affectionate, and
so full of love. He taught me a lot!
He was big, 10+ pounds, and had more than
that in love to give.
Because of his love
and affection Brambley Hedge adoptee MaMaa,
after 4 years of waiting, now has a
home in which she is happy and thriving.
She's now called
"The Rabbit MaMaa Raimund"
