GRACIE & VINNIE

Today was a horrible day. I woke up to find that both of you had been taken prematurely to the Rainbow Bridge, without giving me chance to even kiss you goodbye. Please know that I love you both so very much... and my heart is grieving immensely for you.

Gracie: The feed store wanted to feed you to the snakes 2 years ago, but I just couldn't bear to let that happen. You were truly my lttle "princess", and I can't imagine a sweeter, more people-loving bunny girl. After a long day at work, I knew that all I had to do to feel better was to pick you up and snuggle with you. You loved to clean me, and nuzzle up against my side when we were laying next to each other. You were so tolerant of kids, dogs and other bunnies. I don't think there was anyone or anything that didn't love you, and vice versa. I just can't believe you're gone.

Vinnie: You silly little boy. While you weren't a fan of being held or snuggled, you really looked after your sweetheart, Gracie. You were always a watcher: there was nothing I did that went un-noticed by you. Your antics were great fun, as well. Such as when you would toss your toys into the water bowl, and gleefully hop about when I pulled them out and shook water all over. Just to do it all over again. I have no doubt that you're waiting for me at Rainbow Bridge with those watchful eyes... sprawled out next to your beloved Gracie.

I love you babies. I only wish I could have been there to comfort you in your greatest time of need. I will never forget you.
