Roxy

When we lost our last bunny, Loppy, we were devastated. Just overnight, the house felt too empty, quiet, and dark. We knew that the only cure was to open our home again to the love of another bunny, hoping we were able to find one who was personable, hilarious, and opinionated. Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue introduced us to Roxy, a lovely young, athletic, brown Satin bunny who just melted in my arms the moment I held her. She was confident, curious, and loving… the sense of humor was bursting to come out as soon as we made it home with our new bundle of fuzz.

Upon introduction with our cat, Charlie, they were quick playmates. Ms. Roxy has been nicknamed "Ninja Bunny" as she entertains family, friends, and co-workers with her relentless acrobatic moves, flips, spins, and launches off and on furniture. When preparing for company, she often sits atop the couch just to watch inquisitively the pending project with much vigor. She and Charlie often play tag up and down the hallway while lucky humans like myself are graced with participating in Roxy's game of hide and seek, grooming, and cuddling. At the end of the day, you can't help but to burst in smiles while calling to her across the living room… she…galloping and sliding excitedly across the floor, ears perked like a tv antennae… she runs up her stairs for bedtime, a treat, and kisses. This little one places her entire head, heavily rested in my hand, with eyes barely open…the best release for me after a hard day's work. A special thank you to the people at Brambley Hedge for Roxy and for all of the work you do to bring the same joy to so many other homes.
