Stacey,
I just wanted to let you know that Toby is doing well and seems to be acclimating well to her new surroundings. We took some pictures and they are attached. We did as you suggested with the potty training, and as of late yesterday and so far this morning, she hasn’t gone anywhere but in the litter box.
We let her go into the back yard a little bit this morning while we kept an eye on her. It was very funny. She explored a little bit, heard the dog bark next door and took off running in the opposite direction which made the kids laugh, because it was the first time they saw her run. We left the door to the AZ room open and she did not hesitate to go inside and stay there. She seems to have discovered all the little nooks and crannies and likes the hidden out of the way places. Once I see where her favorite spot is to hide out, I’ll get a little rug for her so she won’t have to lay on the tile. We also have her carrying case in the room with the comfy pad and she does go in there once in a while.
My daughter loves to just sit and hold her, and Toby seems to enjoy it equally as well. They both think they are Princesses.
